About Us

Blake’s House of Independence (BHI) was formed in 2013 to help people

with special needs to maintain employment and live independently. This

501(c) 3 organization provides innovative programs and services to

encourage and assist people with special needs.

 

BHI utilizes comprehensive strategies that guide adults with special needs

towards life-long independence, purpose and a real sense of contribution

towards society.

 

Jamita Martin is the CEO and Founder of BHI. Her son is severely and

developmentally delayed under the Autism Spectrum. As her passion grew

to advocate for her son, she created an environment where he and others

with similar conditions gain specialized training to gain employment and

live independently.

Linda Campbell-Brooks, (MPM)

COO

Her professional career began in 1976 with United of Omaha Life Insurance Company in Omaha, Nebraska. Her initial career goal was to become an Actuary; but her passion developed to become a Project Manager Consultant. In 2014 she became the Chief Operations Officer/Project Manager for Blake's House.
